Ariel is an active conductor in Southeast Michigan. She is currently the Music Director of the Livonia Youth Choir, the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Chancel Choir, as well as the Ypsilanti Community Choir. She is also a conductor for the Civic Youth Ensembles, the youth orchestra program under the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She has served as the Music Director of the Celebration Youth Orchestra and as the Assistant Conductor of the Plymouth Symphony and Orchestra Canton. Ariel earned her master's degree in band and choral conducting from the University of Michigan.

Ariel began her association with the Ypsilanti Community Choir by serving as guest conductor at our Spring 2006 concert, and became our director in the fall of that year.
